  1. So...no clinical indicators, ROM, ortho-neuro, subjective, objective? I didn't see any notes entered, though you did mention a hook to check on talking to their women's group at church to fish for new patients. And frankly, if you're seeing 2500 patients a week-in solo practice, even granting a 50 hour work week, that's just over a minute per patient. Wink, wink, nudge, nudge, know what I mean, know what I mean. Shame on your patient mill. That's criminal and I'd hate to be your defense attorney in court when the jury gasps at that malpractice.

  3. Wow! The negativitiy is consistent why chiropractic eat their young! If this Doc is seeing that you shouldn't be asking why don't you do a medical SOAP you should be asking what can I do to help more people. Shame on you! If you want to spend an hour with a patient and recieve $28 from medicare then you can but don't fault other people. Stand proud that some one is working on more people. If you want to specialize then do so!! Find out what he is doing and then simply repeat it. Get back to the basics man. Subluxation. Documentation is medical terminology that has been established by a symptom based society. If you want some to get sick ask them are you sick yet. If you want some to be healthy ask them What feels better today.
    Enjoy your retirement!

  5. I agree with David. the more you fellas act like MD's the more you look like quakes. Start doing chiropractic and save a life and stop treating people like sick meat. Every extra minute you spend with a person that is a minute you sacrifice saving lives. Deliver an adjustment and back away and let the body heal it self.

  7. Thank you all for your comments. So the idea here was for you to be able to see that Dr. Zaino actually has time to review the SOAP note which includes Subjective, Objective, Assessment, ADLs and Plan for those of you who do not know. He also sends his bill in at the same time or bills the patient account.
I have been to this office and seen how much Dr. Zaino AND his other doctors care. A LOT. Keep in mind that these patients may get adjusted for 1 minute but most of them spend more then 30 minutes doing spinal rehab exercises and therapy/functional exercises. How long are your patients in the office for? Do you stand and watch them while you could be adjusting others?
I am sure he would not mind if you went to his office to see how he gets this done. Why not do the same for yourself and let me know if you still feel the same way?
I have been in hundreds of offices at this point and found that people who criticize this type of thing they are really afraid to find out the truth. That is they are not doing as much as they can. It is easier to criticism someone then to actually see what they are doing. It is an insecurity thing I think. I really don't care what technique you use or volume you see as long as your mission is to help as many people as possible. I mean wouldn't it make sense that if people were not getting what they were looking for at this office they would stop going? How would you get to 2500 per week if they didn't like what they were getting? Would spending more time with them make them like it more? I hope not because then maybe they would see 5000 per week. We wouldn't want that would we? ;)

  8. Dr. Garth. Nobody said he is the only one adjusting. I can tell you first hand that there a full SOAP for every visit and patients get amazing structural changes proven on X-ray. It would make sense then that Dr. Zaino's office is so busy. Shame on you for criticizing someone who is doing something at such a high level without going to see it for yourself. What are you afraid of finding out?
